David Abbinanti is an award-winning songwriter from Long Island, NY. With a Masters degree in Music Composition from NYU, David has emerged as one of today's brightest and most prolific songwriters. Some of his past accomplishments include winning the National Award for “Best Pop Song” from the Songwriters Guild of America and NYU’s INMC Award for Songwriting. Quickly becoming a favorite at clubs throughout the Northeast, David is about to release his debut CD entitled "Local Train To Babylon." Due out in April, 2007, it promises to be an artistic and engaging debut recording.
David's professional memberships include: ASCAP, Songwriters Guild of America, National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, and The National Academy of Popular Music.
