About me:
I'm a pianist, composer, musicologist, professor. I'm a dad, widower, son, brother. Been following the Cubs for a long time. I enjoy good wine (and also good beer and tea), and food, too. Movies. Travel. The usual stuff.
Wrote a book called Jazz Cultures. Have played on a number of CDs, including a solo-piano disc called In Between. I also play regularly in a quintet called The Collective.
