David Asher, originally from Trenton, New Jersey, is a singer/song writer/guitarist/bassist/drummer/pianist who currently lives and plays in NYC. Fomerly of the bands Heather, Sandy Gilmour and the Blood Sucking Vampires, Stilts, and Acedia, David has basically spent his whole life playing music. What sets David apart from the rest is his strong melodic voice which at times can be seemingly haunting, and his unique abilty to incorporate so many different styles of music into his own. From his acoustic songs, which he often improvises on the spot, to his techno beat numbers, to his heavy rock tunes, David's versatility is one of his greatest attributes. David currently has a new band in the works and will be playing upcoming Brooklyn and NYC shows. Check back for updates.
