David earned the BM in guitar performance from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, the MM in guitar performance from the UW Madison, and is a graduate student in Music and Music Ed at Columbia University, where he is currently an instructor of guitar. David has studied at the Aspen Music School and at the Wiener Konservatoreum and his principle teachers have been Kevin Gallagher, Javier Calderon and Sharon Isbin. David has performed in the U.S., Canada, and Europe and has recently finished his first recording for which you can find info here:
