This is the Outstanding Records MySpace site for David Devant & His Spirit Wife,
All Done by Kindness.
We are delighted to announce that the semi-legendary WORK, LOVELIFE,
MISCELLANEOUS is now available
as a digital release from all major download services throughout the world, and
via the Amazon On Demand service in the US.
Featuring the singles Ginger (a Mark and Lard "Single of the Week" and
recently featured on Mitchell and Web), This is For Real (the UK top 40 hit)
and Lie Detector, the 11 song set that comprises WLM has been unavailable for
many years, and frequently changes hands on eBay for in excess of $100. Now Devantees across the world can finally get their hands on
what Q magazine recentyly decsribed as "A Lost British Treasure" and Amazon
reviews suggest is "one of the most criminally under-rated albums of
all time".
Due to legendary levels of disorganisation, the exact year of the bands
formation is unknown even to them. Their first concert some time in the early
nineties, conducted in the future bass players front room, is still talked of in
tones of awe and wonder. LOVE US UNCONDITIONALLY demanded a placard held aloft
from the stage and its seems these words had a power so great that ever since
then the band have been lost in the white hot energy of this infinite feedback
loop of love. Never having planned to be good by their third album, the band
took on the mantle of pop icons from the start. Some bands dream of being fired
from a canon, this bands singer really was.
Like the bastard child of Bowie, Roxy Music and cult TV series The Prisoner,
David Devant & His Spirit Wife have the vision,
the style and the originality to show you a better life. And it's all done by
kindness.

David Devant & His Spirit Wife's Friend Space (Top 8)
Hi David Devant & His Spirit Wife, thanks for continuing to be a friend of Electroflex.
Some important news!
Electroflex have been back in the studio following a break from gigging and recording with new track ‘Computer Virus’.
This is the first of a series of new releases for 2009, and what better day to start on than Liz’s Birthday!
‘Computer Virus’ is a live favourite. Anyone forced to work with computers will know how evil they are and this track is Electroflex’s response to Kraftwerk’s ‘Its More Fun to Compute’. It is a bouncy number with a serious bassline, sing-along chorus and a selection of curious samples.
The track will only be up on Myspace in full for a short time. Alternatively, visit our Facebook and iLike pages where you can add the song to you playlists
