Mi insegnano a suonare il piano, ma mi converto alla chitarra perchè è più "rock".
Faccio ska con gli Skangels, faccio grunge con gli Ashenwave, faccio stoner con i The Underwater Blow Job After Dinner In Costarica So Far From Rancho De La Luna Project (il nome dura più del progetto), faccio dark con gli Animamara, faccio new wave coi The Leglers, faccio rock'n roll sperimentale coi LaCorte. Un giorno mi ritrovo con 4 cassette da 30 canzoni l'una composte da me medesimo, scelgo 4 brani e chiedo all'amico Mà di registrarmi in una produzione casalinga: è l'EP "Non so stare a gambe incrociate", che si può ascoltare integralmente in questo spazio. Nel disco, per la prima volta mi cimento anche nel canto; nei primi live, vedo che la gente non scappa, quindi persevero. Mi esibisco allo Sbaraglio Jammin', all'Arci Pintupi, al Coquetel, al Tambourine, al Libra e all'Acropolis Festival in apertura a Stefano Vergani.
Malgrado tutto, non riesco ancora a suonare a gambe incrociate. Ne soffrono le mie performance al parco e in spiaggia, ma tant'è. Da qualche anno ho abbandonato l'Inglese per scrivere in Italiano. Epppàrlo come mangio. Fra il 2007 e il 2008 mi cimento nella registrazione di altre 6 tracce casalinghe, per l'EP che chiamerò "Non abusare di tuoi amuleti" (il cui primo brano subisce anche uno "strano" remix dai The Phonograph). Questa volta faccio davvero tutto solo io, registrazione e mix compresi...e si sente. L'importante è l'idea, mi ripeto. Del 2009 sono infine la cover di "All that she wants" degli Ace of Base, il brano immaginario "Elisabeth" e la mandolinata "Ritratto in sol"...
