Davide Lipari is ONE MAN 100% BLUEZ. Born in Rome in 1981, he fist became interested in the blues as a young teenager. Truly inspired by early recordings of Muddy Waters, the blues of Robert Petway, and by John Lee Hooker, his passion for the Blues led him to the east coast and the south of the United States, in 2005. It was there that Lipari, began to write his own first blues songs. Upon returning home, a self-taught harmonica and guitar player, he incorporated vocals, and began to busk on the bridges of Rome. His music drew the attention of club owners who in turn invited him to play in their clubs. Plugged into a guitar ampli and equipping his left foot with a tambourine, the chunky chunk sound of One Man 100% Bluez was completed. In September of 2009, Davide Lipari recorded his first live CD, "live at Velletri Blues Festival." His 12 track, original blues CD, "You, me and her" was recorded between December 2009 and January 2010. Davide Lipari is now playing for many clubs and festivals around his country and over, he's working for the new album, that will be out on December 2010, with the featuring of Ruggero Solli on drums, that makes the One Man 100% Bluez project a groovy and searching duo. The duo will represent the blues made in Italy at the first European Blues Challenge in May 2011, in Berlin. Web: ONE MAN 100%BLUEZ Davide Lipari è ONE MAN 100% BLUEZ, un giovane cantante, chitarrista, armonicista e compositore romano, che ha radici molto lontane. Viaggiando fra Boston, New York e New Orleans ha imparato che è meglio mettere il cuore in ogni singola corda fatta vibrare, piuttosto che correre sulla tastiera senza dire nulla: una lezione che sa infondere in tutte le proprie esperienze musicali - underground prima e, ben presto, in locali rinomati, italiani ed esteri - esibendosi come one man band. L'ascolto appassionato di molti generi musicali si riflette nella sua scrittura: brani che esplorano le lande desolate della vena blues, ma sfaccettati di moltissime influenze, dal sapore moderno, ma sempre, totalmente, roots. Il progetto ONE MAN 100% BLUEZ ha visto come primi palchi i ponti e le strade di Roma, chitarra e voce collegati allo stesso amplificatore a batterie e tamburello al piede sinistro. Monetina dopo monetina è arrivato a dividere il palco con Mud Morganfield (figlio di Muddy Waters) e Bob Log III (one man band di Tucson) per alcuni tour e a partecipare ad importanti festival come il Rootsway di Parma e lo Skronk Festival di Roma. All'attivo ha due album, uno di cover, registrato al Velletri Blues Festival nell'estate 2009. Il suo nuovo disco "You, Me And Her", registrato tra dicembre 2009 e gennaio 2010, contiene invece 12 brani, tutti originali. Un disco molto vario, con la presenza di due brani con chitarra acustica, uno strumentale, un brano armonica, tamburello e voce e l'ultimo blues: "walk, walk, walk" con basso, batteria e cori, oltre naturalmente all'ossatura del disco, portata avanti dalla chitarra elettrica un po' crunch, suonata con le dita, con il pollice che fa da accompagnamento sulle corde basse, la voce collegata a un ampli per chitarra e il tamburello al piede sinistro a scandire il 2 e il 4. "You, Me and Her" è stato recensito sulla rivista IL BLUES di giugno 2010 nella sezione "Blues In Italy", oltre ad aver ricevuto molti consensi da svariate webzine, tra cui Live In Babel. Davide Lipari a cavallo tra il 2010 e il 2011 registra il nuovo disco intitolato SOUTHERN JELLYFISH, dove oltre ai brani in one man band (questa volta con l'aggiunta di una stomp box al piede destro), è accompagnato dal batterista Ruggero Solli, che divide già da tempo i palchi più importanti con Davide, accompagnandolo con il giusto feeling, grazie anche alla sua grande esperienza live e al suo gusto inconfondibile . Il disco contiene 12 blues originali, tra cui l'ultimo brano "Leone" un down home blues cantato in italiano. Southern Jellyfish esce con 2 etichette, la Brigadisco e la Dead Music Records, e ha come partner la Blues Made in Italy. E' un disco dove il linguaggio di una musica che ha 100 anni e oltre di vita, si fonde con una nuova interpretazione moderna, motivo per cui il successo live di Davide non è solo relegato ai club di blues, ma soprattutto nei locali underground. Durante la lavorazione del disco, Davide Lipari e Ruggero Solli, hanno partecipato alle selezioni del 1st EUROPEAN BLUES CHALLENGE, dove sono stati nominati rappresentanti italiani del blues.
