Bio
David Feily is a musician, composer, teacher and performer from Maryland and is a graduate from The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He studied guitar with Stephen Morgan, Chris Kachian, and Joan Griffith and trumpet with Chris Volpe while attending UST. He has also had the great opportunity to play with, learn from or share the stage with greats such as Tim Warfield, Eric Gales, Terrell Stafford, David Sanchez, Ingrid Jensen, Allison Miller, Don Junker, Chris Vadala, Jonathan Blake Jr., Kevin Washington, Jay Young, Ian Young, Steve Kenny, Alicia Wiley, Yohannes Tona, Sanford Moore, the ACME Jazz Co, and Viva Brazil to name a few. David can be seen playing guitar at the Artist's Quarter in downtown Saint Paul Wednesday some nights for the early set with Steve Kenny. He also plays other various groups, shows, concerts, private events, and recording sessions around the Twin Cities area. In the fall of 2010 played guitar for the Illusion Theater in downtown Minneapolis in their production of "Always & Forever". In 2012 he played for some shows for the revival run of "When a Man Loves a Diva". He currently plays guitar and bass with Twin Cities born project Soullections and guitar with Brazilian variety band Viva Brazil. David is also currently an active music teacher for guitar, bass, piano and trumpet and is accepting students of all ages and skill levels.
