ABOUT DAVID
David Fumero was born December 29, 1972 to Narcisso and Natalia Fumero in Havana, Cuba and raised in Miami. He has two brothers, Joel and Fernando, and a sister. After finishing high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and later traveled the world as a model, also studying at the International Actors Studio in Paris.
David has appeared on various magazine covers and ad campaigns, such as Christian Dior and Nine West along with many others.
Music fans will remember Fumero from Mariah Carey video, for her chart topping 1997 hit, "Honey". Were he played the object of Mariah Carey's affect.
David Fumero joined One Life to Live in June 1998 assuming the role of Cristian Vega from Yorlin Madera who originated the role. David exited One Live to Live in October 2003 to pursue other ventures as well as take time off to spend with family and friends. In November of 2004 David returned to "One Life" for a 4 month run, and then returned to LA for pilot season.
He returned to New York and the show in September of 2005 and things seem to be taking off. He has not only been busy with OLTL but he has also filmed a movie with Paul Sorvino called "Greetings From The Shore". David has just finished filming the movie "Manhattanites" along with fellow OLTL co-stars Ilene Kristen and Forbes March.
