David Gaschen, A world wide renown vocalist and performer, is no stranger to art of entertaining. David got his start at the early age of 15 and has not looked back. A graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Music, David received his degree in Vocal performance. After graduation, David moved to Chicago, Illinois to begin following his dream of being on Broadway . A veteran of over twenty shows, He landed leading roles of Frederic in the Pirates of Penznace and Karl Franz in The Student Prince with Light Opera Works in Chicago and then in may of 1995 David was given the chance of a lifetime. He was cast as the Phantom Alternate in the original Swiss Production of .Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. At the young age 26 of David was the youngest Phantom that had ever been cast in the Phantom of the Opera. After playing the Phantom for two years in Switzerland, David was asked to reprise his role of Phantom in the German Production of The Phantom of the Opera. While in Europe, David performed the role of The Phantom well over 1000 times.
In the summer of 1999, David was asked to be in the cast of The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. He made his debut as the Phantom in November of 1999 . David has now performed the role of Phantom over 1300 times .
Although this dynamic performer loves the Broadway stage, He has changed directions in his career to the concert arena. With his newly released CD, self-titled David Gaschen recorded with members of the Seattle Symphony, David has charged on to the Pops scene as an up and coming star. He has performed with outstanding Symphonies such as Fairfax symphony Orchestra, The Wheeling Symphony, and the Lubbock Symphony.
In addition to his Self-titled CD, David Gaschen, David has also recorded Let me Sing and I’m Happy solo CD and is also on the CD Broadway’s Fabulous Phantoms with the likes of Howard McGillin, Hugh Panaro and the original Phantom of the Opera, Michael Crawford.
David has performed in a variety of benefit performances which include The Susan Komen Race for the Cure,
Lubbock Christian Schools benefit for Christian education. The Bishop Defalco retreat center in Amarillo, Texas, Benefit for St. Thomas More Church in Darien, CT, The Junior League of Lubbock, The Chancellors Gala Dinner at Texas Tech University, Christ the King Cathedral benefit for Catholic education, as well as the Lullaby of Broadway at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City. In addition to his benefits, David has also done the voice over work for numerous Companies including, United Supermarkets.
David is very proud of his Lubbock Texas heritage. In September of 2006, David was inducted into the Buddy Holly Walk of Fame in Lubbock for outstanding contributions to the field of music. He was also received the distinguished Alumni Award from the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Texas Tech University.
David’s best productions to date ,by far, have been his wonderful son, Andrew and his incredible daughter Molly Marie. David Thanks God in Heaven for his beautiful wife Jeanne and his wonderful Father and 7 brothers and sisters.

You find yourself in a strange place. The moon, full and melancholically bright, is gobbled up by dark clouds. The wind is deadly still and you hear a scream from the mansion on the hill which makes you feel a chill in your spine. What is happening? You can feel something in the air…the smell of the fear… Not a living person in sight, maybe the ghosts are out tonight? Suddenly you hear a strange melody… a sad lullaby surrounded by laughter. Something is about to happen, you can sense it. You start to walk, slowly, terrified. Tell me what you see…Jack O’lantern pumpkins everywhere. Some bats appear from the shadows. Can someone hear your shriek? Suddenly, as lost souls, you can see several figures in the dark. You try to run, but you can’t. They are approaching to you. You can’t do anything, just wait… Can you believe your eyes? You are seeing ghosts, witches, huge werewolves and sparkling goblins. One of them, a smiling vampire walk toward you and hug you. Now you understand it. This is the only night they can live, the only night of the year they can go out and stand with you. So take care, my friend because tonight, is Halloween’s night.
