I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but spent most of my life in the small town of Sweeny, south of Houston, TX. After not really having a clue what it meant to follow Jesus and stumbling constantly through my high school and early college years, God gave me a second chance on life and placed me at Dallas Baptist University, where I enjoyed great community, growth musically, and a maturing love for worship leadership, theology, and songwriting. I graduated from DBU in 2005 with a degree in Music Business while serving as a worship associate at First Baptist Church Euless (www.firsteuless.com) and continuing to pursue a great love of serving all generations in worship and concert settings. My vision is to provide a relaxed and fun-loving environment, both in worship and in concert, where those participating experience the power and truth of God, praying that the Holy Spirit would woo them to respond by placing their trust and their affection in the One True God and Jesus Christ whom he sent. I have had the privilege of being married to my best friend Emily for just over a year now and she is my favorite person on earth. Hey David, i just wanted to say a special thanks from First Baptist Church Of Arlington! I know we enjoyed the worship you did with us at Riverbend. I cryed Thursday night and so did alot of other people because the music was so powerful and so was the sermon! hey man hows everything going me and the youths band for the church played at a youth rally last wensday it was so amazing how much god was speaking to me while we were playing and ive always wanted to be a country singer when i get older but im starting to want to become a christan singer god is doing some amazing things in my life right now i hope you and the band are doing good :)
