In the Beginning...
I first started playing guitar back in 93, when myself and my brother Mark bought a guitar from our good friend and neighbor Daryl Parker. Daryl had been playing for a few months and had decided to upgrade to better guitar so we took his beat up old guitar off him.
After a few weeks of "sharing" Mark decided that he wasn't really that interested in it after all and that guitar basically became mine, unofficially at least. I began to teach myself a few bits and pieces and the rest as they say is history.
I began playing pub gigs with "Hipster" (see the MySpace page below) back around the year 2000 and then branched out to play some solo gigs around Europe during 2003/2004. I haven't played publicly in a few years, apart from the odd gig with Hipster.
At the moment I am focusing on trying to write a few songs. Any attempts will be recorded as demos and posted here on this page. Please feel free to have a listen and let me know what you think, good or bad.
Update
Just back from the south of France where I spent the week with the lads from Hipster. I have 3 news songs to share with you. The recordings are a bit better than "Right Words" but I still hit a few bum notes along the way and I'm not sure if the tempo on "Another Weekday Song" is right but sure we shall see.
