.. The Dave Hannon Band is a high-energy, three-piece pop rock/acoustic band out of the Pacific Northwest. Established in 2008, the band has played well over 350 shows since, and has since built a solid fan base across the Pacific Northwest, extending into various regions of the Western United States and beyond. The band includes Dave Hannon on guitar/vocals, Steve Albert on drums/vocals, and Ian Webb on bass/vocals. ..

.. Since 2008, the band has put out two EPs. The first, “Better for the Long While” (winter 2008) has a largely acoustic feel and contains six songs, including “Make Your Way In the Dark”. The most recent release, “Bridge” (winter 2009) offers five songs with a bit more of an electric feel, including the single “Look Out Below”. ..

.. “Look Out Below” – the first track on the band’s latest EP, entitled “Bridge” – has already received airplay on regional radio stations and the latest single, “High” is featured on a compilation CD from The Hive Recording Studio (SeaTac, WA). Wasting no time, the band is back in the studio this summer to complete their first full-length album, entitled “This Time Last Year” - boasting nine new original tracks and two previously recorded tracks completely redone including the current band members. ..

.. The band has performed in ten states and has opened for such nationally touring acts as Angie Aparo, Rookie of the Year, Hollywood Heartthrob, Monty Are I, and Girl Talk. In fall 2008, Dave embarked on a solo tour with fellow solo acoustic artist, Kristen Marlo, covering 15 cities in seven states over the course of three weeks. In 2009 the band completed both spring and summer tours, covering ground throughout the Western United States with over 150 shows in that span of seven months. ..

.. In June of 2009, Steve Albert received orders to deploy to Afghanistan in late November the same year, where he spent seven months serving his country as a reservist in the Air Force. While Steve was deployed, Dave and Ian kept up performances in the States as an acoustic duo, with performing double-duty switching back and forth between bass and djembe. ..

.. Having returned from his deployment in late May of 2010, Dave, Steve, and Ian are now looking to the future. With a full-length album in the works, and several shows booked throughout summer of 2010 and beyond, the future looks very bright for these three. ..
