David Heffron is a stand up comedian and writer. After three years on the Scottish comedy circuit, he spent a year breaking into the Australian stand up scene with impressive results. He's currently performing in Scotland and working on a new untitled show for the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
His first one man show "David Heffron: Nerd Alert!" was performed at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in October. A tale of "Ghostbusters", fuse boxes, "They Might Be Giants" and attemps to play "Hero Quest" on his own while everyone else plays football.
2007 has seen him write and perform his second one man stand up show "David Heffron - Honest" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The story of how he didn't write the show he meant to, it gained a 5 star write up in Three Week, thus proving what a sham the star rating system is.
He is also a performer in the improv troupe Improbabble. Along with Peter Aitchison and John "Obie" O'Brien performed a three week run of the improv murder mystery "The Plot Thickens". It's currently retooling for a run of performances in Glasgow.

I'm a stand up comedian by night and either unemployed or doing some kind of computer based job by day.
