Self produced singer-songwriter David Homyk (pronounced "HOME-ICK") is turning the music world on its head. Attracting the whole music industry from rock to hip-hop, David is consistently compared to James Blunt when behind the piano and Maroon 5 when behind the guitar. With a whole repertoire of hits and high energy the songs stick and everyone sings along.
The Virginia native is the son of two research scientists. Composing since he was 8 years old, David grew up scoring ideas as they would strike him. Spacing out in class and penning out full songs on the back of Math homework was a daily affair. David ultimately locked himself in his Charlottesville, VA home with his instruments and recording equipment for several years. During that time he juggled day jobs while developing his sound as a producer and recording his songs. He began remixing Beyonce songs incorporating his signature drum formulas which proved so successful that it opened the doors of Music World Entertainment and placed him in front of Beyonce’s father, music industry mogul Matthew Knowles. After hearing David’s own songs and songwriting the company took full interest in David as a writer as well as a record producer. David relocated to NYC where he has been producing tracks and writing songs for Matthew Knowles and performing at night collecting audience after audience to add to his exploding fan base. On 4-20-2008 David released his debut 6-song EP entitled "True Story" on Amazon.com and on iTunes in the US, Canada, UK/European Union, Australia/N.Z. and Japan.
My 4th was very nice, ended up going to Va Beach...cookouts, laying out and doing a little swimming is always a good time! Hope all is well and I'm glad you had a nice 4th!

Hahaha...so let me get this straight...you needed the gloves because you were busting a sweat, and you needed the big puffy jacket so you wouldn't catch a cold? I'm totally just busting your chops! I have been fantastic! How about yourself? How is the album doing for you? Of course I rock out to the David Homyk album. Only when I am vigorously working out in my fingerless gloves though. ;-P
