Sounds Like
I have different voices for different tunes, but I do a pretty good John Denver and Jimmy Buffett. Please give a listen to my songs and let me know who you think!
I guess I was around 8 years when I knew that I wanted to play music. I
was watching the Johnny Cash Show with my Dad when I saw Johnny Cash
spin around with guitar in hand, face the camera and say his famous
line, "Hello. I'm Johnny Cash". Then he would begin to play. I quickly
turned to my Dad and pointed at the TV and said, "That's What I Want To
Do!" Dad bought me a guitar the next day, and I have been playing music
every since.
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. My growing years were pretty much the
same as other young boys in the south, a lot of fishing and chasing the
girls. Now that I'm older...well, I guess somethings never change!
Shortly after High School I took off for the coast. I started playing
music in Wrightsville Beach, NC, when I was in my late teens and early
20's. Around my Mid 20's I found a wonderful place called Edisto Island
in South Carolina. When I was in my 30's I found myself playing Winters
in the Florida Keys; mostly Marathon and Big Pine Key. Now that I am “A Pirate Over 40" I play mostly in Charleston, South Carolina, The Florida Key's, and on Edisto Island, South Carolina. My heart is in “3” places as far as “favorite
memories”; Edisto Beach, South Carolina, Wrightsville Beach,
North Carolina, and the Florida Keys!

I'm not married and never have been. No children, either. I guess that I
have been so happy traveling around playing music, that it never occurred
to me I was missing out on anything. But I'm open for suggestions as my
ship sales into deeper waters these days.
Living on the East Cost most of my life, and usually only a few feet or
miles from the beach inspired me to write about the “Crazy Going Ons” of
coastal life. My CD “Dive In Theater” really sends that message home, as
most of the tunes are about real people and real happenings. I write
many types of music, however “Beach Music and Trop Rock” are my favorites. In the past I have done a Country Music CD, as well as an Alternative CD.
I guess that's about all I need to say in this "About Me" section.
May you always have a song in your heart - and heart in your song!
