I’m a bass player in the DC area-this MySpace page is the best way to find out where you can see me play.
I also am a certified Alexander Technique teacher. I love telling people about the Alexander Technique, giving hands-on demonstrations, inviting people to my home for classes and workshops.
Here’s what happens at my AT classes:
I’ll help you sit or stand comfortably, using a couple simple ideas and gentle hands-on guidance.
If you’re a player, I’ll help you put your hands on your instrument in the most efficient way, and give you ideas to continue good body use with good music-making. It’s also helpful for singers and any type of performers-greater comfort and freedom of expression.
I use similar approaches with anyone: people who work at desks, people who like to walk or work out, people who drive cars. Yes, it’s a technique that applies to living in general.

Thanks for making it out. Glad you dug the sounds. Would love to hit sometime. We're practically neighbors. Maybe something at Harry's place...or better yet on a gig sometime.
Hey David, Our paths haven't crossed in years and now we meet here! I drive past the new TC everyday. Nice arco work BTW. I sold my upright years ago to Peter E. Gary
