I began playing music at the ripe age of 5, playing drums onstage with my parent's show band "Sundown" and began writing songs at 17. My first band, Left Over Kelly, afforded me the opportunity to gain more club experience while honing my skills as lead vocalist and bassist. In 1994 I was asked, along with fellow bandmate Matt Schultz ( DJ Tuesday ), to join "606", ( www.band606.com ) a Sarasota based band. For the next 2 years we played to sold out crowds as the house band at "Harpo's" nightclub in Ybor City, as well as playing clubs all over the bay area. Upon leaving 606 in 1996, I began a solo career that incorporated my songwriting and singing abilities with the desire to produce my own music. In the ensuing years I fronted a few other bands with Matt ( Circus 1999-2000 and Bender 2003-2004 ). After a stint in Los Angeles in 2003 I returned to Tampa in 2004 and am now currently performing in the Tampa Bay area as a solo act and with my duo,"Easy Victor". For complete and up to date upcoming show list please go to the Easy Victor myspace page. Check out my songs! All songs written, performed and produced by David Potts.
Thank you for adding me. I really appreciate you joining me on my author page. I will have a few songs from the soundtrack on the player soon, but will link my music page for more songs. My fiction novel with a CD soundtrack is due out in a few weeks. It will be at CD Baby, Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc. Keep in touch.
Wishing you a great musical week and a Happy Thanksgiving.
If you love and miss THE BAND, here's your chance to experience the next best thing! The THE BAND Band has been lauded by critics as being "as close as it gets to the real thing," performing timeless classics such as "The Weight", "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down", and “Up On Cripple Creek” from The Band's legendary repertoire.
It’s been 40 years since The Band played at Woodstock, and over 32 years since their farewell concert, The Last Waltz. But while The Band may be long gone from the stage, The THE BAND Band is the perfect remedy for Band-starved fans everywhere!

Linders!
Chris Sharts is critically hospitalized from two gunshot wounds and desperately needs your help. Thoughts and prayers requested, most importantly, but donations for medical costs are greatly needed.
hey there stranger!!! How's nice warm Florida?? Are you ready for Santa?? I've reconsidered the "become an alcoholic for the Holidays" idea and took up competitive snowball throwing instead. it's cheaper and the stress it relieves!!!! Take care ~ Linders
