Happy Easter! I hope it's a great one for you.

I'm not sure if you'll be at the Public Library Association conference next week in Minneapolis, but I'll be promoting my new book, Paraworld Zero, at booth #1326, under the banner of "Parallel Worlds LLC." Perhaps I'll see you there.
Road Hunter in the Land between the Rivers

A poem provided in observance of National Poetry Month.

Crystal Clear Blue Skies

Towers weep on peaceful shores.
Crystal clear blue skies.
Across the water, we answered the call,
Never questioning why.

Race over the berm and down the road,
Rebuilding ancient Babylon.
Smiles, waves, and shouts of joy.
Gratuities of hidden fire and roadside bombs.

Blistering sun and mouths full of sand,
White salt stains chalk the skin.
Handshake through a turret gun sight,
Peace attempted to win.

Pain, anxiety, disillusionment,
Seek comfort in each other.
Go back again, one more time,
Only for my sister or brother.

Hey,

It’s here! NBTBAM Day. Alfred Kropp – The Seal of Solomon is officially on sale.

Yancey has announced that if you read the book and post a short review of it in my comments on MySpace describing your favorite part; you will be entered in a random drawing. Three winners will be selected and will receive their choice of the Alfred Kropp Seal of Solomon t-shirt (there is a picture of it on my page) or a signed copy of Alfred Kropp-The Seal of Solomon. All reviews must be posted by June 10, 2007.
