David Lane was born and raised in the tiny town of Darien, Ga, and at about the tender age of six, knew what he would do for the rest of his life. David had a pretty rocky road as a child and found strength in the songs he would hear either from his parents radio or from the endless collection of albums his mother introduced him to. He started writing songs around this time and would put on concerts for neighborhood kids. He would even make homemade albums of his material on an old karaoke machine and pass them out as well. However, it wasn't until the age of twenty one and some college and dozens of misc. jobs later that David would pick up his first guitar. Since then David has performed up and down the coast of Georgia and Fla. He was the winner of the 2006 Clay County Talent Showcase and has opened for Tracy Byrd among others.
Born with a song in his heart, David Lane is just a short step away from sharing his music and voice with the world. David is now living in Flagler Beach, Florida with his new baby girl Leilani Louise. He has graced Nashville a few times and plays wherever he can find an ear. Listen once and become a fan for a lifetime.
Hi David, how have you been? I just listened to all of your songs again, and I just wanted to let you know that they are beautiful! You are an amazing artist!!! Look, I was serious about wanting a few of your tracks to play them on the radio here. I dont know how you feel about that, but I am absolutely positive that you will hear it all the way down there. Please think it over. It could be a closer way to make it.. Please, please David, You are amazing! Your music is indescribable! If you need the address again let me know. I have more than 5 radio stations that already heard your songs on here, I've been letting the word out! Let me know if you can come through! ----Let me tell you something a little personal.. Since forever ago at Granny's house on during the holidays, I loved nothing more than to listen to you sing. It was so beautiful then. Especially in the basement or at the trampoline, when no one else was around but us crazy kids.. lol You were amazing then, and you have only nearly perfected your wonderful talent since. Please David, you deserve this. Your family deserves this. Our Granny would be soo proud to see you now! I am so proud of you, no matter what, you are my superstar cousin! You always have been! I do hope you can send some music. If you dont want me to send it to the stations, please just do it for me. My girls love hearing you. When I get online, they always tell me, "Mama, can I listen to your cousin David sing again?" They will be three and four in November, and are already your fans. Your whole family back home is very proud of you! We love you David!

Hey David :) Check out the video I created for the GHI members Berry and Dustin to help promote there book. You can find it on my myspace profile page....for some reason it's easier to locate on youtube by searching under hcas73. I'm not sure why - I've named it "The Complete Approach Promo" like everyone else has....it is 6min long - and it does have sound too. I made it just the other night - so my chances of getting more viewers than others I know is very slim....the contest ends Sept1 - tuesday - I need all the help I can get. You can repost it on your bulletin.
