At 19 years old, I was hired as a full time musician, to play the washboard and the drum set , it was at this time, that I invented my signature washboard instrument, and polished my washboard technique.
In 1993, I founded “Sun Side Jazz Band”, the band released two albums.
I also traveled in and around Africa, especially Senegal.
In 2004/2005, I moved to New York, where I toured with DAVID GRISMAN and played with PAQUITO D'RIVERA, DORADO SCHMITT, ANGELO DEBARRE, etc … at Birdland, Lincoln Center, Joe's Pub, Iridium, Satalla, Crash Mansion and festivals in Montreal, Rochester, Montreux, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, Portland, Austin SXSW...
2006, was spent mostly touring all over the country playing gypsy jazz with the Stephane Wrembel's Trio.
In 2007, The Blue Vipers won the "Subway Idol" contest on Fox TV ! Thanks for your votes!
We also played some exiting concerts with Steve Adelson including opening in duo for Al Di Meola, Stanley Klarke and Jean-Luc Ponty.
And lots of interesting stuff like recordings, movies scores, commerials, etc..

Hi from Indianola, MS, home of BB King and the new $16M BB King Blues Museum! BB King Homecoming is Friday, June 5th and it's going to be a very special one. BB has recently purchased the famous Club Ebony (where Keb Mo' showed up for the Sunday Evening Jam last week!) and will be playing there after his Concert in the Park. It is incredible to see the King of the Blues work at such close range.
