This book is AMAZING.
And I just happen to be on the Civil War section in history, and this is pretty much amazing.
I keep bringing up points from the book during lectures.

i finally got Wide Awake!! It took weeks to arrive [I live in England, yes it does suck very much!!]

Wide awake was amazing. It was compelling and i was rooting for stein all the way [because he's ace.]

Jimmy and Duncan *faints on the ground* perfect for each other. I wanted to hug them [yes i will admit that!!!].

brilliant. One word to sum up Wide Awake. Politically brilliant. Two words in fact!!!

this is my favorite young adult summer read. as a civics educator i truly appreciate the bold take on politics and the emphasis on the importance of young people's involvement in the process...thank you.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book it made me think and there isn't that many books about gay teens who think about poltics or how we react to them. And this shows it...
