Influences
David Bowie, Radiohead, Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, John Lennon, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan. These guys have inspired me and reminded me
If the world was struck deaf in the morning and nobody could hear another song, many would say we probably needed a break anyway. But words/pictures/music is only a small part of what David Lydon offers. He writes from the frontline of experience, relaying stories of overcoming addiction, depression and other shit.
David has been writing and performing for over a decade. Originally sparked back to life by the Seattle grunge scene of the mid nineties, he has since gathered many influences, chief being soul-baring singers such as John Lennon, Tori Amos and Bob Dylan. Another main influence would be David Bowie, who's inventiveness and creativity has always been an inspiration.
David Lydon has recently released his debut album "Hello Ugly Hello Friend" and is currently working on new material.

Hi David! Man, it's been a long time. Hope all is well with you. How's your summer going? I hate to bother you, but I’ve written my first new song in a while, and I would like you to hear it. It’s called “Flower On Your Grave.” The story is in the lyrics blog, which I hope you will read and comment. Thanks. Have a great week.
Once upon a time, way down in the southwest coast of Ireland a little boy was born into a little town sourrounded by mountains and into a mysterious time of leprechauns and fairies and most of all poverty.
He had a miracle happen to him in 1982 and heard Gods voice and still hears Gods voice today.
He has been healing the sick and miracles have been happening since then.
He knows everything about every human being in the world, The only human being in the world that has the ability to do this.
