Writing my books. I cannot imagine life without being published successfully so it's something I'll always strive for. My most prized possession is the antique writing desk my father found at a flea market and gave to me on Christmas. Watching horror and kitschy-cute Halloween movies. Going for walks with book in hand reminiscent of Lizzie Bennet. Sketching. Mainly from The Crow comic and from the art of Yoshitaka Amano and so on...It's difficult for me to draw from my mind. My style is a sort of hybrid of James O'Barr's and Dame Darcy's. Playing with makeup and taking photos. Mainly with Jamesy. It's good fun. Pinup dress and style. I love the idea of that sort of class and sensual elegance. You can't really go wrong, I'm glad it's coming back into vogue more and more; as it should.Music

My name is Vera. I have a few other nicknames I have acquired either through ill-gotten happenstances or industrious comedic instances. Sometimes it's Gitsie, sometimes it's Claudia, sometimes it's Stevi. You could ask me how or why but it probably wouldn't be worth your, or mine for that matter, time.
I was homeschooled for most of my high school career. Through which I have attained a satisfactory sense of self, dreamy yet decent ideals and aspirations as well as a good, healthy dose of Peter Pan syndrome and social awkwardness.
I feel silly at times because I fear I come off as pretentious because I'm kinda nerdy when I talk sometimes. Please understand, I do not consider myself higher than anyone else. I don't think I'm special. Honestly, it's mostly because I have spent a lot of my time reading and discussing books with equally geeky and eccentric people for most of my life thus far. This is probably why my skin is screaming a deficit of vitamin D. xP
Tea and coffee consumption as well as Tarot readings are a few of my favorite past times. I have been studying Tarot for about six years now.
I'm Pagan. I have been so since I guess I was thirteen.
I would consider myself to be a savant of sorts. I could read off to you anything from Milton's use of sympathy for the devil to Austen's use of satirical irony. But uh...exercising mathematical skills, driving a car or walking down or up a set of stairs with any sort of finesse? Not so much...Heh.
I'm a stickler for organizing my books in order of those I have not read, then those which are my favorites, and so on. But there is a whole ecosystem of water bottles and dirt-stained papers littering my car floor.
My parents are happily divorced (which is fine and dandy) and I have two awesome, bratty brothers. The older one is Timmy and the younger one is Nicky. Though, recently Nicky is well past my piddling height and I kinda feel like I have two big brothers now instead of just one.
Uh, yeah, that's about it for my ramblings.
