see www.davidmcguinness.comfor all the other music i do. this space is for things that don't quite fit anywhere else yet. occasionally some of it appears in public under the name willow and the tearooms.

one of the few times i write any new music is when a friend has a baby. so thanks to evangeline (h&h - runs on from delighted), and nuala (delighted) for spurring me on to write these two.
lismore point is just a wee tune that popped out when i got home from a very relaxing week there. joy to the person of my love is a quick demo i made of a song from 17th century scotland.
everything within features barnaby brown on triplepipes, and wee red and 5 minutes at 90 are both spontaneous improvisations.
Just heard some of your wonderful recital on Isle of Mann on rad 3, gorgeous! Hope get to see you soon and play some more! Shamefully still haven't borrowed Sibelius to print off you know what, I will I will.., do let me know when you're next down south/in town.
Thanks for the add. I'm especially enjoying "delighted" and "lismore". The only other tune I know about lismore is "Leaving Lismore". You must have been sad about that...
