Dave Mieloch writes music for film makers and video game developers that want their artistic project to be emotional and epic. magically transporting their audiences to surreal and exotic sound worlds. As a gamer himself, his musical background in metal and film naturally synthesize to produce music that works hauntingly perfect with interactive media.
A recently graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Theory and Composition, Dave continues to expand his technique while pursuing the stage with “Hung” his NYC based Progressive Metal Band.
From his first film projects, Dave's voice has been uniquely dark, rhythmic, and exotic. His early score for the award winning short, Merry Melony Ep. 1, evoked a dark and surreal sound world for Melony who awakes confused in a Donnie Darko-esqe dream land. Merry Melony Ep. 1 was widely praised on Newgrounds.com having received over 550,000 views and many viewership awards.
Dave is currently working with J.S. Lange Productions, a video production company that works with companies to produce high quality digital media products.
He is also working with ZREO (Zelda Reorchestrated) to create a reorchestrated soundtrack of the best music from Nintendo's latest release on the WII console "Twilight Princess" to be released at http://www.directsong.com/
