David began scoring in 2002 for the producer Michael Kigel and his syndicated show “Passages” on CTS and Omni one. From there, he continued to work for this production team in other shows, such as the Israeli Documentary presentation “The Land”, and the show “Messages” (CTS/OMNI)
He has scored many independent Canadian films such as “If Wishes Were Horses” (2003) by Justin Kelley, “Death and Turkey” by Fab Fillipo (2004), “Women In Rock” (2007), “The Flock” (2009) and the Norman Jewison Award winning “And The Planets Conspire” (2008) by Hill Kourkoutis, and “The Novelist” by Greg Szymanski. David also composed the title “Charge Me Up” (with Chris Osti) for the CBC Presentation, “The 100 Greatest Canadian Inventions”.
Performing and Recording Musician:
David Paoli has been playing guitar since the age of 10 and live since the age of 15. Mainly self taught, he continued his understanding and education of guitar playing at Humber College’s Jazz program graduating with honours, and specializing in big band arrangement. From 1997- 2003 he joined the band Audiobomb as their lead guitarist and became one of the songwriters while opening for such acts as The Lowest of The Low, and The Deadly Snakes. From 2004 – 2005 David played in “The Familiars” featuring Paul Jago and Jud Ruhl of the “The Gandharvas”. In 2006 David joined the award winning band now known as Drowning Girl, and the indie rock outfit The Action Mob. Since then, he has gone on to be hired by different artists in a range of genres from Country, Alana Kurtis, Shelby Lamb, to rock Tara Slone and Leh-lo (formerly of Joydrop), Andrea England, and opened up for such acts as Matt Mays, Bedouin Soundclash, David Wilcox and Neverending White Lights.
I have finally hit the road on a busking tour to raise money for War Child, Coast-to-coast – 50 cities – ALL PROCEEDS TO WARCHILD. Why? 66% of all war victims are CHILDREN. Shocked like me? War Child helps these children that have been affected by war. Check out the new blog – the whole story is up there. Love to have you be a part of it.

I've got a new record coming out!! I've been working on "Can't Let Go" for a long time and it's gonna be in stores in Canada on June the 5th so check it out!
