| 一般 | Singing, especially with my band. I also play guitar and piano. I really like writing, which pretty much explains the whole journalism thing and the song-writing bit. I like the occult, I read tarot and do crystal and angel therapy. Also, I seem to have an unnatural attachment to the computer. Alcohol is also an interest of mine.
Things I lie about regularly:
-I'm over my karaoke addiction. I'm not.
-"I'm sober, honest." I'm not.
Things I hate bitterly:
-Paranoid jealousy.
-Elitism.
-Jennifer Anniston.
-When you find a great song on Myspace music which you'd like to jam onto your profile, only to find that the latter half of the song has been removed by the management of the original artist, thinking you will legally download their music because you can only get half of it on Myspace. Fuck that shit, it just increases my level of hate.
-Morrissey.
-Mental flux.
-Sammy Hagar.
-The lack of a practical solution offered in Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way."
-When people honestly think Skins is pushing any limits.
-When 15 year olds write things like "I'm nothing special" in profiles, when they really mean {INSERT POST-MODERNIST FAUX MODESTY}.
Things I originally thought I was lying about but later discovered were actually true, nullifying my lies and in effect causing a dream to come true:
-I told people I'm Spanish. I actually am - on Kaffy's side, not my da's, as I once thought.
-I'm on a Journalism course.
Things I like:
-Structure, especially when applied to one's writing.
-Masterful ignorance of the previous point a la Faulkner.
-My blog.
-People who also like my blog.
-The understanding and/or deafness of my immediate neighbours.
Words I use frequently as catchphrases to make myself paradoxically more accessable and more aloof:
-"Score!"
-"Distaaain..."
-"Twisteaaad..."
-"Like...totally...like..."
| | 音樂 | I don't want to give you a massive list... I like Classic Rock, Glam Rock, Hair Metal, Blues, Classical music, and crazy 60s David Crosby type Folk Rock stuff. Also, lately, I like happy pop music, i.e. Girls Aloud overdose.
I get a tad obsessive over musicians I like. Don't get me started on Whitesnake, Joni Mitchell, or David Bowie. | | 電影 | I like cult films because I feel like society owes me something. I don't like cult literature, because then I look like a prick who is trying too hard to be cool, but cult films are different for some reason. What I'm trying to say is that I will admit to watching and enjoying A Clockwork Orange, but even though I really want to, I can't bring myself to read On The Road by Kerouac. Also anything with the three "T"s: Tits; Titillation; Terminator.
