FRESH ON THE SCENE, nineteen year old David Ryan, is ready
to take the charts by storm and make history. So CRANK' up the volume
and get ready to listen to the future of R&B. Since the age
of eight David's been training and pursuing a career in
the industry. At fifteen he was spotted by vocal coach, Sal Dupree, at
a local talent showcase in Philadelphia. From there, with Dupree's
help, David was able to develop his signature falsetto and soulful tones.
In February of 2008 David was introduced to producer Roy "Royalty"
Hamilton, who immediately brought him into the studio
to begin working on material. Together they collaborated on 3 tracks, working alongside other top producers including, Raphael Hamilton and Anthony M.
Not too long after, in August of 2008, David received a message through myspace regarding a boy band audition in New York City. A respected manager in the industry was interested in having David audition for the new group. Although he was not the right fit for the particular boy band, he gained the interest of respected music mogul, Paris D'Jon (former manager of 98 degrees & Jessica Simpson), who decided to take David on as a solo artist. During that time David received an offer to join another group that was developing in Philadelphia. Because of timing and economic issues, D'Jon advised David that the industry was looking for groups, and he may want to take the chance. David and D'Jon parted ways.
There David honed his crafts as a recording artist and performer learning to dance as well as experiencing the work schedule of professional artists. The experience came to end shortly after it began, but it was definitely a fantastic stepping stone.
Most recently David has been meeting with new producers and is expected to have new material out shortly.

David has workeded with vocal coach “Ankh Ra” of Diddy’s Making The Band! He is currently rehearsing and gearing up for future performances.
