About me: Psalms 18:49
Therefore I will praise you among the nations, O LORD; I will sing praises to your name.
Lately I've been really bad about returning messages here on MySpace. Sorry guys! Usually you can reach me on:
A Brief Introduction: So, thanks for coming to my site! For you guys that don't know me, my name is Ryan and I'm 24 years old...living proof that MySpace is no longer cool any more!
Basically...I'm a normal guy with an average life and normal hobbies. I love God, I love to laugh, I love people and I love the outdoors. Camping and backpacking are two of my most favorite pastimes! Most of my family are from Arkansas, which is a beautiful state if you're a fan of anything nature...and some of my fondest memories are the years in which I grew up in Boy Scouts alongside my best friends.
Something I learned from Scouting is that everyone has something to offer this world...and personally, I believe that every small thing we do for someone else can make a difference. I'm not a tree hugger or a liberal or even a sissy boy...I'm just a guy that likes to believe in people because someone believed in me. I admire it when people are real with me and I enjoy it when I can be comfortable with being myself around others. I respect humility and anyone who has the courage to share their heart and faith in any situation. Most importantly though...I appreciate a love for God, a personal passion for life, and a sense of humor in any individual! All of which, I believe, are necessary to succeed in this world!!
So, anyway...a person's job doesn't define who they are, but if you're curious...I'm currently a soldier stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Over the next six months I'll be in language school struggling to learn Arabic...haha, for some reason God put me here. There are parts of the Army that I love, and parts that have been difficult in adjusting to so far. But, basically I feel like God put me here for a reason...opportunities to minister and prove myself as a good man and a soldier seem crop up every day!
Recently I gave in to peer pressure and thought I would join the world of MySpace just to stay in touch with everyone else back home! (And, now here I am...yep, thats about it!)
