   About David Serby
"This unassuming Illinois-born neo-honky-tonk musician is currently writing songs as full of brilliantly observed detail as those penned by his obvious model, Dave Alvin. I shit you not. And at every live show, he seems to pull yet another magnificent new song out of his bag. Nice guy, too. So buy his album, check out his local gigs, and keep your eyes open – Serby’s gonna be around for a while." The Ridge Route Romeos

Jul 4 2009 5:42 PM

Hi Dave- The Ridge Route Romeos are coming to Ronnie Mack's Barn Dance on Tuesday, July 7 for a set of songs about drinking, bad decisions, and degenerate behavior. We'll be featuring special guests Marty Rifkin on steel and John Groover McDuffie on guitar.  Fun for the whole family, as long as the whold family is over 21 and not confined to the trailer park by an electronic tracking device!  There will be 5 of the finest roots-music bands in LA, with the all-star Barn Dance Band kicking it off at 8:30.  The Ridge Route Romeos take the stage at 10:30.  Sorry for posting this as a comment instead of sending an invitation…we’re too stupid to figure out how to send an event invitation!

Thank You so much for the very kind words. I love the new cd and sounds just like a live show...well except you can't hear the sound of Taras spilling your beer in the mix.
;-)
Thank's for the "Thank You" in the cd. That was real nice of you.

Yo Ho Ho... How's stuff? We're cooking along into June now & got some out of town shows lined up for summer, but as far as this crazy town's concerned- looks like Old Towne Pub is the place. We just can't seem to stay away from that sweet lil hole. We're playing there this Thursday with some friend bands and plan to pack the place for some freaky-cool times & beer. Come out already! It will RAWK & then you can go back to life as usual with some spring in your thing. Yarrrr!!!!!! -Obedient Waves
