David was born in Hertfordshire in England but grew up and went to school in Ireland. His musical career began in amateur dramatics in Ireland. His first professional break came at the age of 21 when he won a role in the touring production of Les Miserables in Dublin & Edinburgh. David has had consistent work in musical theatre including Miss Saigon, Whistle down the wind, Cats, Beautiful Game, Jesus Christ Superstar, Martin Guerre, Notre Dame de Paris, Tommy and concerts in various countries since that time and has also written original songs which he hopes one day to record.
He has just finished a year playing Raoul in Phantom of the opera and then Anatoly in Chess and has finally started to record his album.
David has just finished in the title role in the Gate Theatre Dublin's production of Sweeney Todd which ran from April till July and will be Performing in Another Kind Of Magic in Sweden this November

David will be playing the title role of Macbeth with second age theatre company in a short tour of Ireland then Dublin starting the 23rd jan till march 14th pease go to the second age theatre website for more details at www.secondage.com
He will also be Playing the role of Jean Valjean in a concert version of Les Miserables with the Bournemouth Symphonic on February 16th

the Music of Lloyd Webber with the RTE concert orchestra in the National Concert Hall Dublin September 18th and again with RTE at the Helix in a concert devoted to James Bond Music on October 3rd

I'm Natalie, just wanted to tell you how inspirational it was to see you perform, you made me cry several times! It's my favourite show and I've seen it twice now and been in a few productions of it. Thanks for making the show so amazing and I hope to see it again.
