A SINGERS PRAYER,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Oh Lord:
You are the Great musician of all music and songs. I kneel and bow before you. Since every good and perfect gift must come from you. I pray that you give skill to my voice, A clear vision to open my eyes with kindness and love to my heart, and strength to my body. Lord, I am asking you for songs of purpose to sing and the ability to lift a part or all of the burden of suffering from your people. I pray that I will always realize that being a singer is a gift from you and is a privilege and an honor to have. Lord, take from me all evil and bad things of this world so that with the simple faith of a child I can sing and keep my eyes upon you. Amen.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

There always seems to be a story of joys and heartaches behind every singer, and David Sperry is no exception. After working for a factory for 23 years, David’s career abruptly ended when the company ceased operations. He then went to work with a private ambulance company transporting patients, particularly the elderly. Although he took a reduction in pay, he enjoyed working with the elderly and had more free time to work on his music. Often his patients requested that he sing or play his CD for them. His music touched their hearts, which also blessed him. David went from place to place singing mostly in nursing homes and churches, and his popularity grew..

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever.(Psalm 30:11-12) Happy new year
