Influences
Lots of things influence me and my music really,
day to day life, new people, my parents , artists like gilbert and george, dali, henry moore.
The crazy happy/sad world we all live in,
the continuing problems with my car!,
good food,
heavy nights out drinking til the birds are singing on your walk home.
musically im a mixed bag really. anything that is lyrically strong and connects with me, whatever the genre, Indie, Rock, Folk, Hiphop, Soul, Funk, Blues....
i currently love the following artists/bands....

I guess you would call me a singer/songwriter, but theres more to it than that, I hope.

For this young singer/songwriter from Hertfordshire, music has always given him a way to take a step back from the thoughts crowding his head.
David was born into an already creative and imaginative family; his mother a writer, his sister a poet and photographer, even his father used to be a sculptor. Stemming from his parents love of ancient cultures, throughout his childhood he has travelled to many different countries and experienced a huge array of cultures, traditions, religions, and people.
"The world isn't as big as some people make out you know, and when it comes down to it, we are all the same, we all want to be happy, be loved, needed, we all need to find our place in the world…."
From a young age, David has been involved in a various number of bands, including one which managed to play at Glastonbury and also made appearances on radio in 2003.
From here David has gone from strength to strength and established himself as an acoustic singer/songwriter, and is building a solid following in both the digital, Myspace world, and on the real life gigging circuit.
Stylistically inspired by artists like Damien Rice, Bob Dylan, The Police, Snow Patrol and early Elton John, David writes and delivers with perfection, melodies that burst with heartfelt and raw emotional energy. Avoiding the generic, he writes and performs with passion and a sincere and honest approach, all inspired by his own personal experiences and feelings. Seeing his songs as an extension of himself, he creates a unique and fearless sound, laced with beautiful and impassioned words confronting the confusion of the world around him.
