Hailing from the middle of the Sunshine State in 2006, it would almost be too easy to describe Monsters Not Men as a band that has taken complete eminence in the scene but that doesn't make it any-less true. With 2 years of hardships behind them, Monsters Not Men has taken the lives of heartfelt musicians who's struggles, experiences and their love for music and turned it into a compilation of lyrics and intonation. Consisting of five members, Monsters Not Men, is: Brent Wimberly on Lead Guitar, Corey Ciralsky doing percussion and back-up vocals, Christian Olkowicz on Rhythm Guitar, Lukasz Grabowski on Bass Guitar and Ancil 'AJ' Abney on Lead vocals.
Previously known as David's Victory, Monsters Not Men is currently recording a full length album titled; "...And Some Fell Among Thorns". Having financed the album themselves; They promise that it will deliver what fans want more of with plenty of technical riffs, beefy breakdowns, melodic harmonies, and a lyrical aptitude that is unmatched. With no pressure or time frames for the recording of this album they have been able to tweak each song into conveying the messages they feel should be taken from the songs.
Bringing aggression to how they deliver their music makes Monsters Not Men a must see band. Putting their hearts into every note and filling the room with life and emotion; Energized, exciting and bold is the only way to described their powerful performances during a live show. Each live show tends to be a display of their prowess in both music ability and entertainment.
With new beginnings on the horizon and as they take their experiences that they have gained throughout their time being a band; their passion and desires become ever more evident as they continue to grow. These 'florida natives' have finally put their impression in the music scene and have shown the have no intentions of backing down.
