DAVE WARD BAND......Born in Galway, Ireland David Ward moved to Canada with his family at the age of 10. He began performing and writing folk songs in Waterloo, Ontario where he grew up. After college he spent two years travelling through Ireland and Spain performing in cafes and bars. David then moved to Chicago to study Journalism where he also immersed himself in the city's vibrant indie music scene.
Upon completing his post-grad in Journalism David moved to Toronto and formed The Dave Ward Band with childhood friends Matt Buller on sax and Shawn Harrigan on bass. After only two shows the band was offered a music residency at C'est What in Toronto and has been selling out the venue since.
Wicked tunes, David. I love how sexy your voice is on 'Drown...'
Many thanks for the friends request. If you're ever back in Vancouver look me up.

Great site! Looks like we share a lot of the same tastes in music, movies, books, and entertainment in general. Speaking of cool entertainment, we’ve got a fresh review of Irish folk-rocker, Linda Coogan’s debut, “Holding Back” on The Music Channel at BuddyHollywood.com.
Stop by and check it out when you have time, and let us know what you think!
