David aka (John) is a young, but very mature man who has devoted his entire life to the performance of music. He was born October 27, 1982 in South Carolina. At the tender age of four Dave made his first steps towards becoming the next great male vocalist. In his father's church, Bethlehem Baptist in Alvin, SC Dave sang as well as led the youth choir for many years. Though he was great in his own right, he still had many steps to take before understanding his true potential.
Throughout High School David participated in many talent shows, school pageants, marching band/choir and a host of other events. As a great achiever, high school was not enough for Dave. After receiving his HS Diploma in 2000, he attended college in Charlotte, NC where he then found the key to his potential and majored in Sacred Music. Although he never finished school, David quickly gained more knowledge of the musical magic he possessed.
After college he settled in Charlotte, NC where he later connected with old colleagues, musicians, and friends. He immediately flooded the Queen City singing and performing everywhere. He has performed on stage with many Gospel and R&B greats. In December 2005, David decided to expand his horizon and take his music to the next level. In doing so, he relocated to Jersey City, NJ with family and friends whom later lead him to Maine Gotti President and CEO of Conglomerot Recordz. These connections have contributed abundantly to his current project.
David Wesley is currently working hard with his latest project geared towards bringing back the true sounds and lyrics of R&B and Soul music.
