Influenced by the music I love the most, I have been told never to be forced into doing anything I didn't want to do, and Music is something I have always enjoyed doing. With various music festivals and shows under my belt, I had decided it was time to start branching off into my own type of music, my own creations. Amber City is written about coming here to Fredericton and leaving everything that I have ever known behind. Starting a new life.
"David Woodside is a nineteen year old singer/song writer from Kensington, Prince Edward Island. Influenced by many acoustic rock artists, David has branched off to his own version of acoustic rock using hammer-on chords and slides. His lyrics are influenced by his past, present and future and tell the story of how he came to be where he is now.
David has released one CD titled "Amber City" and plans to start recording for a second soon."
"The music not only appeals to the younger generations of music listeners, but the older generations as well, David Woodside has found the right sound."

I'm hitting the road in a couple of weeks to raise money for War Child, Coast-to-coast – 50 cities – ALL PROCEEDS TO WARCHILD. Why? 66% of all war victims are CHILDREN. Shocked like me? War Child helps these children that have been affected by war. Check out the new blog – the whole story is up there. Love to have you be a part of it.
You’ll find a Blog, Tour page and a Bio page. I’ll be blogging daily from the road.
