Lessons I've Learned To This Day:
1. Being an adult can be fun when you are acting like a child. My boys have the talent of getting me down to their level. They gave me back a certain innocence that I at one point considered lost. "We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing."

2.Love has nothing to do with looks but everything to do with time, trust, respect and interest. Without any one of those the relationship is destined to fail. Without my failed relationship I wouldn't know where I stand today.

3. Laughing, crying, joy and anger are all important. All make us human...even us guys.

4. The greatest truths in life are uncovered with simple, steady awareness. They are revealed when you least expect them to be. We become wiser and with every ounce of wisdom gained we lose an equal amount of folly.

5. Bad things do happen to good people...for a reason not necessarily malignant. Every misfortune is a lesson learned because you need to learn it.

6. Hesitation is the product of fear. Conquer it.

7. Your health is your life. Put off going to the doctor and soon you won't need to.

8. Kindness will take you farther than anything else. Be selfless.

9. Taking ownership of failure builds the foundation for success. You learn from your mistakes. I plan on making many more.
