DAVINPORT is made up of:

Jimmy Thow : Vocals

Jason Gordon: Guitar

Jeff Gordon: Drums

Jared Daniels: Guitar

Charles Mandamin: Bass

Brought together to write songs, Jimmy Thow, Jason Gordon and Jared Daniels soon realized that there was much more to their chemistry than they had originally thought.

Those who listened to the songs being crafted for the first time where instantly converted. As the songs kept coming, and coming, the need to play live intensified daily. With the infusion of Jeff Gordon and Charles Mandamin, they now had a band with a driving rhythm section and the rest of the package had been completed.

“It never hurts when your guitar player owns one of the most sought after studios in Winnipeg” says Thow. Davinport has been preparing diligently for there first full length release “creatures of habit”. While this band started off as a songwriting project it has quickly developed into one of the most exciting acts to watch for in 2009!

Jeff and Jason’s old band “Driver” had created a huge buzz in Canada, releasing 3 records (with a Top 40 Single), having 2 videos in rotation on Much Music, and tours with Theory of a Deadman, 3 Day’s Grace, Grady, Thornley, and Default.

Word had hit the streets that something new was in the works and it had ignited frenzy.

Everyone had dropped their other projects to focus on DAVINPORT full time.

Jimmy Thow loaded up his car and moved to Winnipeg from Vancouver to commit to this new endeavor…. DAVINPORT.

Commitment to song writing and each other is the foundation of what DAVINPORT is all about.

It’s this commitment that makes DAVINPORT a force to recon with on the music horizon.
