It all started in the 80s with a Billboard-charting album called Mystic Waters ... A collection of electronic music that created a new career for Davol. Already a microbiologist at the time, he continued to do research and music over the years. Five albums later, the style is still evolving ... from new age to electronic instrumental pop with some flavors of chillout, it's always about catchy melodies and rhythmic grooves.
No longer a medical researcher, Davol is devoted to the music now, as well as photography, French, and public health education work. The adventure continues ...
I put your name in pandora.com, and one of your songs came up; I was jazzed. But then none of the other artists' songs that were supposed to be similar to you were anywhere near as good, which was kind of a bummer. I guess you are unique!
Are those two new songs on your profile from an upcoming album?
hi Davol, thanks for adding, and thanks for your kind words about my music :-) I really appreciate this... during the last days I listened once more to the 4 albums that I have from you, and it's great again... very interesting musical development from album to album, "day like no other" is really incredible, it's so melodious and supermodern... very impressive, and your new song "truth" is outstandig as well...I consider your works to be some of the best in the whole synth electronic ambient new age genre... and I'm anxiously waiting for your next album, be sure that I'll buy it... warmest regards alfred from germany
When "Ride" comes on my randomly-selected playlist, I don't know what it is at first, it starts so quiet. Then, when I recognize the melody, the excitement builds, the anticipation, because it hasn't kicked fully into gear yet, you know?
It is a great song for driving. Keep up the good work!

I wanted to thank you for adding me and I just heard your music tonight for the first time and I feel in love with it and now I am going to go out and buy 2 of your cds and thank you again for adding me.
Higgly piggly, tiggly wiggly,
Giggly jiggly, pumpkin pie.
Sigh a song, cry a song,
Shy but I’m wry, this song.
Take us to heaven on crystal sigh.
My but we’re high, ding dong.
Children they cry, ding dong.
Because of evil made up like light.
But it’s all right, this throng, can sing a different song,
If we but sing a long, darkness die.
So sing this different song.
Singing will make us strong.
Its time to ‘git a long, old world bye.
Just follow piper’s song, he’ll show you what went wrong,
Sing you a crystal song, lift you high.
Thankyou so much. I'm honored to be included among your friends here. I've been a fan since the first album, "Mystic Waters". Your music is hypnotic and spellbinding. Best wishes for continued success.
Bid me now this spell unfold,
A pinch of salt, a horny toad,
A bit of magic, well foretold.
A sing song sung in days of old.
Now breath thee deep the power of son,
Breath thee deep, this will be fun,
Breath deep and smile with childish pride,
Breath deep, bring energy inside.
Breath deep and see a brand new day.
Where magic once again holds sway.
And Michael with a hoary laugh,
Performs a jig with ancient staff.
And lightly touches forehead frown,
And lightly whispers,
Al-ka-zom.
And gently smiles, so all can see,
The miracle of a god that’s thee,
And if by chance you cannot see,
Then read this rhyme each day times three.
And share it with those high and low,
Perhaps this time they’ll come to know.
A pinch of salt, a horny toad.
A little spell that breaks your mold.
A sing song sung in days of old.
Deep magic that was once foretold.
