Davvid is the Project name of two young and talented Bulgarian artists Tatyana Iosifova and Dimitar Paskalev, whose artistic collaboration brought to life the album INSIDE. The project is formed in 2004 as David, but in 2007 the name has changed to Davvid project.
With no claims for innovation or genius, far away from the modern pop music mass hysteria and pathos, Davvid project meets us with an album of high standard quality music.
The album provokes modern people to look inside themselves and make an effort to achieve self-determination, to wake up and face their emotions without any fear.
INSIDE stands out with the stylish harmony of music, lyrics and design. No one can miss also the interaction of meanings and symbols in each and every song of the album, the connection between text and design, and the step by step transition from one emotional state to another.
A true dignity of the album is the sound. It is absolutely adequate to the modern tendencies, disclosing the entire freedom of creating Neo-Romantic Wave music.
Davvid members are pretty laconic about its concept. They explain it with an Ecclesiast’s quotation, printed on the cover of the album which refers to the neo-biblical times we live in, to the chaos around us, but also to the freedom of choice each of us has and the right for self expression.
Davvid proves this with their music, which is entirely subjective, with extreme emotional charge, music made with pure heart and without any compromise.
