Dawn Marquis began singing and performing at the age of 4. Of Mohawk and Norwegian descent, Dawn was raised in her hometown of Kahnawake, Quebec, and spent some years in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dawn has been professionally trained in singing, dancing, acting and modeling, and was actively involved in her school theatre programs and the Kahnawake Theatre Company.
Radio stations that have aired Dawn's music are Kahnawake's K103.7 FM, NCI FM in Manitoba, where "Choosin' To Lose You" was in the Top 30, and CFWE 96.7 in Alberta and Saskatchewan where Dawn's songs were in the Top 20.
In 2004, Dawn was honored as a role model in her native community for all of her singing achievements in the: "Honouring The Legacy Of Youth Excellence Poster Campaign."
