    IF YOU WANT TO BOOK US CONTACT: dawnsessionsmusic@gmail.com Dawn Sessions is Helsinki-based band, whose music is a combination of electronic and organic instruments. As a result, the sound is a blend of downtempo/triphop/lounge -like ambience combined with beautiful vocal melodies. All the Dawn Sessions songs so far have been composed by Timo who has also played all the instruments while Salla has created the lyrics, vocal melodies and vocals. Dawn Sessions saw daylight in the beginning of 2008 when Timo and Salla started it as a studio project. First released songs were published in the summer 2008, when "What if I", "Still Not Sleeping" and "Introduction to Dawn Sessions" were released. Songs received a positive response and as encouraged duo decided to make more songs. Second recording session was finished and the first song, "Equanimity" released in November 2008. In the beginning of 2009 Dawn Sessions released a five-track set called "The Beginning EP", which included the new songs from the studio sessions of autumn 2008 as well as a couple of older tracks. Spring 2009 the duo took part in Funky Elephant Festival's demo contest. In this contest Dawn Sessions was awarded with an honourable mention and they were requested to perform live at the festival. Due to this Dawn Sessions expanded to a five-member band.
