Well, I am a married work at home mommy of two wonderful kids! My family is my entire world. They are the only thing that gets me through my day. If it weren't for them, I would be lost. In October 2008, my then 3 1/2 year old son was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes (type 1 diabetes). Since then, I have been doing everything I can do to help raise money to be donated to the JDRF to help the many thousands of other children affected by this life-long, life-changing disease, as well as try to educate others of the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics.
I am a big fan of educational toys, games, television shows, books, movies, basically anything educational that will help my little angels advance and be the best they can be. That passion is the reason I have become a work at home mom with the company I am with, Discovery Toys! Who I'd like to meet: The day they find a cure for Diabetes, I would love to meet the person(s) who developed the cure, shake their hand (ok, most likely give them one heck of a hug! LOL), and thank them from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to meet other people who have the same interests as I do, who are compassionate, kind, caring, and honest.
