I am currently trying to add all the artist that are on my Ipod as my friends! If I keep this up it might be a couple years before I write another song! I can't believe Terry Allen is on here! "Back To Black" wow that song was given to me by a friend of mine who is also a DVM equine Spec. out in Sallisaw, Ok. Along with Kris's album "Silver Tongue Devil and I" This music came at a crucial time. I was training race horses after my mother took her own life on her and my step-dad's farm. My kids where in NC with their dad and I was trying so hard to deal with it all. Bobbie Cryner, thanks where ever you are! Your music was there too! It seems like everyday of my life since I was old enough to hear it music has been there. The last thing my mother did was put in a Doug Stone cd.. put "Sometimes I Forget" on repeat... She woke me up before she shot herself, it was Feb 1st, 1996. I guess she needed me there... I was just in town to visit. That song played for about 30 hours before I stopped it. I played it again when I scattered her ashes on her farm... I thank every single artist out there for the music they do! I can tell you that I have had the fortune to find the right time to pray and the right time to sing! From singing in church to singing in some little block building every chance I get to open my mouth!! I am gonna!
