Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Dax loved music and taught himself to play piano by the age of 19. He formed his first band Dax and the Gods of Dave in the mid 90's. They released a self titled Cd in 1997 to rave reviews. In 1998 the band disbanded and with a solo career ahead of him Dax moved to Los Angeles. It is there that the Genesis for the songs on the CD "The Simple Truth"
With the talents of producer Evan Brubaker (Holly Figueroa, David LaMotte) and musicians Dan Tyak(Danny Barnes), Jonathan Kingham, Todd Gray, Dino Haak and Corey Heindal, Dax has assembled a team of like minded folks to make an emotional statement on the human condition and the desire for connection.
The most recent project is the demo called "SHINE" produced by, Melissa Etheridge bassist, Mark Browne. Dax performs in Los Angeles
