The name "Million Dollar Babies" is derived from the movie in which a female attempts to conquer a male dominant sport, boxing. The duo, Lucky Lefty (aka Benjamin S. Chi) and,Mike B(aka Michael J. Byun) backed by their uber-talented producer/artist J KiD (Jeremy Kim), also attempt to overcome a genre of music that is highly against their favor. Lucky Lefty,Mike B, and J KiD are three young Korean-Americans that are devoted to make it in the music business. Their style of rap has a unique flavor, in which they deliver clever and witty similes, while keeping from that classic dark underground sound. With a list of solid performances at historic venues,(Orpheum Theatre, Whiskey A-Go-Go, House of Blues, Knitting Factory) they gathered them a local following.
With a positive and explosive response from their debut mixtape “Baby Shower” , Million Dollar Babies continue to stay rooted to their color, while adding humor and being free from the stereo-typical “rapper” identity. Their road to bringing Asian-Americans a rightful place in hip-hop can be followed at www.daycaremusic.blogspot.com.

UGH! It's just that he picks the damnedest (I know it's not a word) times to take a nap. I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. Mackenzie and Ricky are getting married in May. How have you been doing? We are going Saturday and start looking at dresses. They didn't give me much notice but thats Mackenzie, right? LOL Oh hey!
