Daylight Robbery are a two piece acoustic duo or a four piece acousic or electric band playing covers ranging from The Kings of Leon to Marvin Gaye.
They consist of Stav (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Jakey B (backing vocals & lead guitar.), Scott (backing vocals and bass) and PK(backing vocals and drums)
Originally thrust together by their inherent love for blues, the duo jammed on numerous occassions. Then one moon lit night, Daylight Robbery were forged from a smoke laden, alcohol induced frenzy!! Then upon joining power with the tightest rhythm section to be found in all the land, the full band was born in to this world for all to enjoy!
If you want an authentic acoustic experience with a twist of blues, these are the only men for the job! If you want a full band with soaring four way harmonies that are suited for any occasion, with a track listing as along as a very long arm then the full band is the only option you need sought after!
Our debut full-length album "Spectre At The Feast" is to be released by Wicked Wicked Bird Records on April 2nd and will be available for purchase from our website www.thehellsetorchestra.co.uk from then onwards. You can hear clips and see videos from the album on our MySpace page now.
To celebrate, we're holding two album launches; one at The Maze, Nottingham on Saturday 31st March and the second at Water Rats, London on Sunday 1st April. Do come along to either if you are able, they promise to be monumentous occasions.
