DJ Tru Blu has been making beats since '99 and has been diggin' in the crates and getting his fingers dusty since 2000. He was taught how to hook up beats by Kam of Maad Ethics, and had his knowledge about hiphop expanded upon by DJ Cro (who also sold him his 1st sampler the Yamaha SU10!). He has worked with various Birmingham (UK) based emcees such as Hardkaur, Morrish Delta 7, Casper, and The What Supreme (who helps run one of Brums best hiphop nights - The Unseen). He has had beats released on Second Son's label too. He is now working with Little Game (Soul&Funk) K Sound (UK beatbox champion/ multi instrumentalist) Solocypher, Sloth and Pnuematic, ReggieMental plus the Lead singer of the PaperPushers, trying to finnish his solo production album . DJ wise he has spun as part of Hedz back in the day (At the Medicine Bar) supported numerous MC's such as De La Souls Maseo, Skitz and Rodney P as well as a then up and coming Estelle and Blak Twang. At the moment he is performing regular gigs with Little Game and manning the decks and the MPC Live!
